Zabón is a Spanish brand on Shopify, and it has sent 50 gifts to creators through one Seed link since 24 September 2026. Its team finds the creators. Seed runs everything after yes. Zabón's one request was that the gift form speak Spanish, and we shipped that the same afternoon. This is a small case study: one brand, about three weeks, and no measured conversion rate yet.
The brand and the setup
Zabón (zabon.es) is a Spanish Shopify brand, and Pauline is our contact there. Its gift form features a multi-purpose starter kit.
The mechanics are the same as for every Seed brand. Zabón sends a creator one branded link. The creator picks the product and variant and types their own address. A real $0 Shopify draft order lands in Zabón's admin. No discount codes exist, so there is nothing to leak, and the order is a normal Shopify order that fulfillment already knows how to handle.
The request: Spanish on the gift form
On 24 September 2026, the day Zabón's form went live, Pauline asked for the form in Spanish. Her creators are in Spain. An English form asking them to choose a product and type an address is a small hurdle, but it is the hurdle between a yes and an order.
We built an EN/ES/FR language switcher that afternoon, and it went live for every store, not just Zabón. A creator opens the form with ?lang=es and sees Spanish interface text, for example "Elegir mis productos →". Anything the brand writes itself, like product names and the campaign description, stays as the brand wrote it. We don't machine-translate a brand's own voice.
What we saw
Since the switch, Zabón's creators complete the Spanish form more often than they completed the English one. I want to be careful here. That is what we saw. It is not a measured rate, we have no percentage, and one brand over a few weeks is not a study. If we later pull a clean before-and-after, I'll put the number on this page with a date.
What I think is going on is plain enough. A form in your own language is faster to fill in, and a creator who fills it in faster is more likely to finish it. Gifting in Spanish isn't translation polish. It removes a step between yes and shipped.
The plan limit, and what happened at the edge
Zabón started on the free plan. On 2 October 2026 it hit the free limit and upgraded to the paid Starter plan. Gift requests that had queued over the limit were approved after the upgrade and became orders, once we fixed a bug that had held them in the queue. Zabón then reached 45 of its 50 Starter orders before the month's cycle reset.
Zabón is on older, grandfathered pricing, so I won't quote its price. Today's public plans are Starter at $79/mo for 50 gift orders and Seed at $199/mo unlimited, both with a 7-day trial. See pricing for the current details.
Finding versus running
This is the split we keep coming back to. Finding creators is judgment work, and Zabón's own team does it, because they know which Spanish creators fit the brand. Running the gifting operations after a creator says yes is mechanical: product, variant, address, the draft order, tagging, the follow-up. That half is what Seed takes. In our experience, by hand it means several DM round-trips per creator and a draft order typed into Shopify for each one. Seed does not find creators for you, and it does not handle contracts or affiliate payouts.
What other European brands can copy
- Send the form in the creator's language. If your creators are in Spain, France or anywhere else we support, open the link with the right ?lang= value or share the localized link.
- Write your own product names and campaign description in that language too. The interface text is translated for you, but the brand's text is yours.
- Keep gifts as $0 draft orders, not codes. A code is one more thing a creator in another country has to understand and a shop has to police.
- Read the Spanish-market basics first. We cover shipping in envío de productos a creadores en España, the market in el mercado de influencers en España and data protection in recoger direcciones de creadores y el RGPD.
For a second European example, see the La Fam Amsterdam case study. For the address side, see how to collect creator shipping addresses.
Who this won't fit
If you need a database to find creators, Seed isn't that, and a discovery tool will serve you better. If you send fewer than five gifts a month, a DM and a hand-made draft order is fine. If your creators are in a language we don't offer on the form yet, you get English, Spanish and French today, plus your own brand text in any language.
What to do next
If your team already finds the creators and you want the rest handled, you can install Seed from the Shopify App Store and check pricing. The trial is 7 days.
Frequently asked questions
How many gifts has Zabón sent with Seed?
50 gifts to creators as of 17 October 2026. The gift form went live on 24 September 2026, so that is roughly three weeks of data from one brand.
Does the Seed gift form work in Spanish?
Yes. Seed has an English, Spanish and French language switcher on the gift form, live for every store. A creator can open the form with ?lang=es and see Spanish interface text such as "Elegir mis productos →". Text the brand writes itself, like product names and the campaign description, stays exactly as the brand wrote it.
Did the Spanish form convert better than English?
In our experience, yes: Zabón's creators complete the Spanish form more often than they completed the English one. That is what we saw, not a measured rate. We have no conversion number yet and we won't invent one.
Do Spanish creators pay anything or use a discount code?
No. The creator picks a product and variant and types their own address. Seed creates a real $0 Shopify draft order in the brand's admin. There is no discount code and no storefront checkout.
What happens when a brand hits its plan limit?
Zabón started on the free plan and hit the limit. Gift requests that had queued over the limit were approved and became orders after the upgrade to Starter on 2 October 2026. New installs today start with a 7-day trial on Starter ($79/mo for 50 gift orders) or Seed ($199/mo, unlimited).
