OnlyByGrace is a Danish gift retailer. It uses Seed to let the employees of its corporate customers choose their own gift from a printed card. This is a pilot: as of 2026-10-15, 6 gift orders have gone through a code, and most of them are test orders.
The problem
Companies and churches buy gifts for their staff. The buyer wants one price per person. The staff want to choose what they get. The merchant wants to ship what was paid for, with no back and forth over email.
A discount code or a gift card does not fit well. It shows prices and leaves the choice open to the whole store. The merchant needed a curated set of gifts, with no prices, that fits the amount the company paid.
Why Seed
Corporate gifting is influencer gifting with two parts swapped. The creator becomes an employee. The DM becomes a printed card. Seed already had the rest: single-use codes tied to a campaign, a branded form, a draft order, and no payment step for the recipient.
OnlyByGrace contacted Seed support in September 2026 with this use case. The corporate flow was built for it and went live for the shop on 2026-09-14.
How it works
- A company buys a number of gifts at a fixed price per person.
- OnlyByGrace makes one organisation for that company in Seed, and one campaign for each gift level (for example 300, 500 or 700 kr, shipping included).
- Seed mints one code per gift. Codes look like
KRMH-7P2X. They avoid letters that look the same, so a handwritten card is easy to read. - OnlyByGrace prints each code on a card for the company to hand out.
- The employee enters the code on one permanent URL on OnlyByGrace's own domain.
- The employee picks one gift from the curated set. No prices show.
- The employee types an address.
- A real $0 order lands in OnlyByGrace's Shopify admin. The code stops working. The merchant ships the gift.
The form is in Danish
Every customer-facing string on the gift form comes from a copy list that the merchant controls. OnlyByGrace wrote the Danish. The employee sees Danish from the code entry page to the last confirmation. The orders in the Shopify admin are labelled with the merchant's own word for a gift, not with influencer wording.
What changed for the merchant
- Codes are grouped by the buying company, with a redeemed count for each.
- Codes do not expire. This was the merchant's choice, because cards can sit in a drawer.
- Codes can be exported as a CSV, filtered by company, and each redeemed code shows the Shopify order it created.
- A paid Shopify order for a gift product can mint its codes by itself. The merchant does not have to make them by hand.
The numbers so far
This is a pilot season. The numbers are small, and we show them with their size. All figures are read from Seed's database for the shop on 2026-10-15.
- The merchant has set up 9 organisations and 15 campaigns. Some are tests.
- 30 codes were minted since 2026-09-12. None of them has an expiry date.
- 6 gift orders were placed with a code, from 2026-09-23 to 2026-10-15. Four of those used codes flagged as tests. The other 2 were not flagged, but we do not count them as customer results.
- 3 codes were minted from paid Shopify orders. One of them was redeemed 31 minutes after it was minted on 2026-10-15, and the order is marked fulfilled.
We have no completed gift season to report yet. The first full season, around the end of the year, is the real test. We will update this page with the numbers then.
What is next
The next step is to run real buyer orders end to end. A company pays on the Shopify store, Seed mints the codes from that paid order, and the codes go to the merchant for printing. This works on test orders today. Real orders will show where it needs more work.

Questions brands ask before they start
How does corporate gifting work on Seed?
A company buys a number of gifts at a fixed price per person. Each employee gets a printed card with one code. They enter the code on one permanent URL, pick one gift from a curated set with no prices shown, and type their address. The merchant gets a real $0 Shopify order and ships it.
Can the form be in another language?
Yes. Every customer-facing string on the gift form comes from a per-shop copy list. OnlyByGrace's whole recipient flow is in Danish.
