Summary

Full Page Screenshot — Capture & PDF (“the extension”) does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal or sensitive user data. Everything the extension does happens locally, inside your browser, on your device.

What the extension does

When you click the extension’s toolbar button, it captures the visible page as a scrolling series of screenshots, stitches those screenshots together locally in your browser, and lets you save the result as a PNG image or a PDF file. All of this processing — scrolling, capturing, stitching, and exporting — happens entirely on your device. No image data, page content, or any other information ever leaves your browser.

Data we collect

We do not collect any of the following:

• Personally identifiable information
• Health information
• Financial or payment information
• Authentication information (passwords, credentials, PINs)
• Personal communications (emails, texts, chat messages)
• Location data
• Web history
• User activity (clicks, mouse position, keystrokes, scroll behavior)
• Website content

The screenshot pixel data the extension creates while capturing a page is generated and held only in your browser’s memory for the duration of that capture, and is saved only when you choose to download it — to your own device, under your own control. That image data is never sent to us or to any third party.

Permissions and why we need them

The extension requests exactly two permissions, both used only in direct response to your action:

• activeTab — lets the extension see and capture the single tab you are currently viewing, and only after you click the toolbar button. It has no access to any other tab.
• scripting — lets the extension inject a small script into that tab to measure the page and scroll it into position so the full page can be captured, section by section.

The extension does not request host_permissions, so it has no standing access to any website — it can only act on a tab after you explicitly click the toolbar button on that tab.

Data transmission

The extension makes no network requests of any kind. It has no server, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, and no cookies. It does not load or execute any remote code — every script it runs ships inside the extension package itself.

Third parties

We do not share or sell any data to anyone, because we do not collect any data. The extension does not embed any third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect data.

Data retention

We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. Any PNG or PDF file you export is saved directly to your own downloads folder and is entirely under your control — we never see it or keep a copy of it.

Children’s privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13. It collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.

Chrome Web Store limited use

Full Page Screenshot — Capture & PDF’s use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
