Connect your Instagram professional account so Seed can read and reply to creator DMs.

> **Beta:** This section is in beta, enabled per store, while it's pending Meta App Review. It won't show in your Settings menu unless it's been turned on for your store.

Settings → Instagram links your Instagram professional account so you can read the creator DMs your account receives and reply within Instagram's 24-hour messaging window, directly from Seed.

**1. Connect Instagram / Reconnect Instagram**

Opens Instagram in a new tab to approve access. If nothing is connected yet, the button reads

Default: Not connected

**2. Connected account**

Shows the connected @handle once a connection exists.

Default: None

**3. Status badge**

**active**

(connected and working.

), the connection needs to be renewed; reconnect to resume.

, access was removed on Instagram's side; reconnect to restore it.

Default: None

**4. Webhook badge**

**Webhook subscribed**

**Webhook not subscribed**

, whether Seed is set up to receive new DMs in real time for this account.

Default: None

If the connection isn't active, a warning banner explains it and the button switches to** Reconnect** so you can restore DM access without losing your other settings.
