# Quickstart: install to first gift

Install Seed and send your first real $0 gift order in about five minutes.

This walks a brand-new store through Seed's setup wizard, start to finish. It takes about five minutes and ends with a real $0 order in your Shopify admin, sent to yourself as a test, so you can see exactly what a creator will experience before you send the link to anyone else.

> **Tip:** This wizard only shows up once, for a store that hasn't finished setup yet. If your store already has a real campaign, you'll land on the Home dashboard instead, see [the app tour](https://www.seedinfluencers.com/help/new-app-tour) for what's there.

1. **Install Seed** from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions. See [Install Seed](https://www.seedinfluencers.com/help/install-seed) for what each one is for. The wizard opens automatically right after.
2. **Answer whether you've gifted creators before.** Pick **Yes, we gift 20+ creators a month**, **Yes, a few times, not consistently**, or **No, we're just getting started**. This just tailors your setup, picking an option moves you straight to the next step.
3. **Pick what creators can choose from.** Tap one or more products in the grid pulled straight from your Shopify catalog (only products that are active show up). Need something not on the first page? Use **Browse all products** to open Shopify's own product picker. Click **Continue** once you've picked at least one.
4. **Make it look like you.** Set your logo, primary color and a welcome message. See [Branding](https://www.seedinfluencers.com/help/settings-branding) for what each field does. You can also click **Skip for now** and come back to this later from Settings.
5. **Say where you heard about Seed.** One optional question, pick an option or click **Skip for now →**.
6. **Send yourself a real test gift.** A live preview of your actual gift form loads on the right, pre-filled with your own name and address so you don't have to type them. Go through the form as a creator would and submit it. This creates a real $0 draft order in your Shopify admin, tagged so you can tell it apart from a real creator's order.**Tip:** If you want to see the order land, click **View in Shopify** to open your Orders page in a new tab.
7. **Choose your plan.** Free is preselected. Click **Continue on Free** to keep going without paying anything, or pick **Starter** or **Seed** to upgrade now. 8. **Invite your first real creator.** Your gift link is shown, ready to copy. Click **Copy** and send it to the first creator you want to gift. DM, email, whatever's fastest, or click **Open share screen** for more ways to share it. Click **Go to dashboard →** when you're ready to move on.

## What you have now

A live campaign with a real gift link, your brand's look applied, and one test order already sitting in your Shopify admin as proof it works end to end.
