The goal
You have a reporting deadline, a client call, or a creator just told you they posted, and you want the numbers on screen to reflect reality right now instead of waiting for the next scheduled check.
How most brands do it
The common mistake is treating Refresh now like a page reload, clicking it repeatedly, right before every meeting, out of habit rather than need. It's a shared, shop-wide action with a cooldown, so hammering it just means it's unavailable the one time you actually need it, and it does nothing useful for numbers that are already current.
How experienced teams do it
Experienced teams trust the automatic schedule for the general case, daily checks in the first two weeks catch almost everything without you doing anything, and reach for a manual refresh only for two specific situations: a real deadline where stale numbers would embarrass you, or a single creator you know just posted and don't want to wait on. For the second case, refreshing just that one post is the better tool: it doesn't touch the shop-wide cooldown for everyone else's numbers.
Do it in Seed
- To refresh everything: open Results and click Refresh now in the header, see Results: header. The button reads Checking… while it runs, and the page updates itself every 15 seconds for a few minutes.
- To refresh one post instead: open a campaign's own results page, find the creator's row, open its ⋯ menu, and choose Refresh this post, see Campaign results: creator table.
Expert checklist
- Default to waiting for the automatic schedule. It already runs daily for the first two weeks.
- Save the shop-wide refresh for a real deadline, not a habit.
- Refresh a single post instead of everything when only one creator's numbers matter right now.
- If the button's greyed out and you're not sure why, check for a "checks are paused" banner first. That's a capacity pause on Seed's side, not your cooldown.
