When submitting fails, the creator sees the exact reason in a red banner above the button (translated into whichever language their link opened in, where Seed has one). Ask what it said, the wording tells you exactly what to check.

Things the creator can fix themselves

1"Please agree to the terms & conditions to place your order."
They need to tick the terms checkbox on the review step before submitting.
2"This gift's value is over the {amount} limit for this form."
Their selection is over the gift-value cap you set on the campaign. They need to remove an item.
3"Please check the additional consent box to continue."
A required second consent checkbox (if you've turned one on) wasn't ticked.
4"Network error. Please try again."
A connectivity hiccup on their end. A retry almost always works.
1"This gift link is no longer available" / "This link is no longer valid"
The campaign was paused or deleted, or (on a per-creator link) that specific link was disabled or has expired. Confirm the campaign's status and, for a per-creator link, that link's own status.
2"This link has already been used."
A per-creator single-use link (/g/<token>) only works once. If the creator needs a second gift, send them a new link rather than reusing the old one.
3"This gift link has reached its order limit"
The campaign's own order cap has been hit. Raise the cap or start a new campaign.
4"An order has already been submitted with this email for this campaign"
Your gift form doesn't use per-creator links, and this email already has an order on this exact campaign. One order per email per campaign on the shared link. If they really do need a second gift, that's what re-gifting or a per-creator link is for.
5"You've already submitted a request for this campaign, the brand is reviewing it."
The campaign requires approval and this creator already has a pending request. Check your pending queue. It's probably just waiting on you.
6"Selected product is not available in this campaign" / "Could not verify this campaign's products. Please try again."
The product list changed (or a Shopify lookup hiccuped) between when the page loaded and when they submitted. Ask them to reload the page and pick again.
7"Sorry, {variant} is out of stock. Please pick a different option."
The specific variant they picked sold out in the moment between loading the page and submitting. They need to pick a different variant or product.
8"Incorrect or missing password"
The campaign is password-protected and either no password (a stale link) or the wrong one was submitted. Confirm they have the current password.

Missing required info

Messages like "Phone number is required", "Instagram handle is required", "State/Province is required", "ZIP/Postal code is required", "TikTok handle is required", or "YouTube channel is required" mean a field you've marked required on the Form fields card was left blank, this normally can't happen because the submit button is disabled until required fields are filled, so seeing this in practice usually means the creator is on an old, cached version of the page. Ask them to reload.

Something went wrong on our side

1"Failed to create order. Please try again." / "Failed to create order: …" / "Internal error. Please try again."
A Shopify-side failure while creating the order. Invalid address data Shopify itself rejected, a temporary API issue, or a plan/permission problem on your store. A retry often works; if it keeps happening, email sam@seedinfluencers.com with the exact message.
2"Store not connected. Please reinstall the app."
Seed's connection to your Shopify store has been lost. Reinstall the app from your Shopify admin.
3"Could not verify this gift's value. Please try again." / "Could not verify that parcel locker. Please try again."
A transient failure verifying pricing or a parcel locker against live data. A retry usually works.
