# Campaign editor: Emails

The Emails tab. Every email a creator on this campaign gets, and which one you can customize.

The **Emails** tab lists every email a creator on this campaign can get, in the order they'd receive them. Only the first step (**Confirmed**) has per-campaign wording; the rest use Seed's shop-wide copy and are turned on or off for every campaign at once, from Settings → Emails.

## Timeline

**1. Confirmed**

Sent when the creator claims the gift. The only step with a per-campaign editor, see below.

**2. Shipped**

Sent when the order ships. Read-only preview here; toggle it shop-wide in Settings → Emails.

**3. Delivered**

Sent when the order is delivered, then a check-in a few days later. Read-only preview here; toggle it shop-wide in Settings → Emails.

**4. Ask for post**

Sent a few days after delivery if there's still no post. Read-only preview here; toggle it shop-wide in Settings → Emails.

**5. Thank you**

Sent after the creator submits a post. Read-only preview here; toggle it shop-wide in Settings → Emails.

> **Tip:** Every step's row shows whether it's currently on or off and a preview of its subject line. Click a step to expand it.

## Confirmed email editor

Expanding the Confirmed step opens its own editor.

**6. Send a confirmation email to the creator**

Turns the confirmation email off entirely for this campaign when unchecked.

Default: On

**7. From name**

The sender name shown to the creator.

Default: Blank = your brand name

**8. Subject**

The email's subject line.

Default: Blank = Seed's default subject

**9. Body**

The email body. Plain text, line breaks become paragraphs. A row of merge-token tags above the field inserts placeholders (like the creator's name) at your cursor.

Default: Blank = Seed's default copy

**10. Button text**

Text for an optional button in the email.

Default: Blank = no button

**11. Button link**

Where that button goes. Needs both text and a valid http(s) link to show.

**12. Reply-to (optional)**

Where a creator's reply goes. Blank uses your shop default.

**13. Cc (optional)**

Up to 5 comma-separated addresses. Blank = none.

**14. Bcc (optional)**

Up to 5 comma-separated addresses. Blank = none.

**15. Preview**

A live rendering of the email as the creator will see it, updating as you type.

**16. Send me a test**

Sends a test copy of the email to you. Shares a limit of 2 test emails per 24 hours with Settings → Emails. The button disables and shows when it resets once you've used them up.
