# Campaign editor: Advanced

The Advanced tab. Value caps, passwords, per-creator gift links, submission limits, discount codes, size charts, language, domain page, and embed code.

The **Advanced** tab holds power-user settings that most campaigns don't need on day one: value caps, a password, per-creator single-use links, submission limits, a discount code reference, size charts, translation, shipping notes, order-triggered gift codes, a custom domain page, and the embed snippet.

## Gift value cap

**1. Gift value cap**

A dollar ceiling on the total value of a single submission. Submissions over this total are blocked.

Default: Blank = unlimited

## Password

**2. Set a password**

Requires creators to enter a password before they can view the gift form. Once set, the card shows

buttons. the password itself is never shown again once saved.

Default: Blank = no password

## Single-use links & other rules

**3. Give each creator their own single-use link**

Mints one link per creator, each usable exactly once. A forwarded link can't be reused by someone else. On the Free plan this checkbox is locked with an explanation; Starter and Seed can turn it on.

Default: Off

Once turned on (Starter+), an inline panel appears with the mint controls and link list:

How many orders one minted link accepts:

**5. How many**

is picked above. The exact order cap for the next link(s) you generate.

**6. + Add link**

Mints one link with the cap chosen above.

**7. Bulk count**

How many links to generate at once with the button below, up to 200.

Default: 10

**8. Generate N links**

Mints a batch of links in one go. Useful to paste one at a time as you DM creators on Instagram.

**9. Link list**

Every minted link for this campaign, newest first, showing its URL, an Instagram handle if set, an expiry date if set, a status badge (order count vs. cap, or

> **Tip:** Editing a link's cap, expiry, or handle happens from the Campaigns list's **Get links** page. This inline list here is for minting and enabling/disabling.

**10. Customer tags (optional)**

Comma-separated tags added to the creator's customer record in Shopify, useful for segmenting gifted creators in Klaviyo. Orders themselves are always tagged automatically regardless of this field.

**11. Shipping line label (optional)**

Leave empty unless your 3PL or carrier rules need a specific shipping line named on the order, for example if they reject the default $0 free-shipping line Seed adds.

Default: Blank

**12. Shipping line amount**

The dollar amount for that shipping line. Disabled until you set a label above.

Default: Blank / 0.00

## Automatic Gift Code Generation

When a customer buys a specific product variant in your store, Seed can automatically mint gift codes and add them to that order.

**13. Select Product & Variant / Trigger Variant**

Opens Shopify's product picker, then lets you pick one variant from that product as the trigger. Only one variant can trigger a campaign, if another campaign already claims it, saving shows an error naming that campaign.

**14. Change variant / Remove**

Once a variant is set, swap it for a different one or clear it (with a confirm step).

**15. Distribution Date (optional)**

Codes expire 60 days after this date if set, or 60 days after each order date if left blank.

## Submission limits

**16. Products per submission, min**

The minimum number of products a creator must pick in one submission.

Default: 1

**17. Products per submission. Max**

The maximum number of products a creator can pick in one submission.

Default: Blank = uses Max items per order (Products tab)

The ceiling (1–99) on the quantity dropdown that appears when Products tab's

Default: 10

## Discount

**19. Discount code**

Stored for reference only. Set the actual code up in Shopify Discounts. This field doesn't change how orders are created or discounted.

## Size charts

**20. Size chart 1–3**

Up to 3 image URLs. Creators open these from a "Size charts" link under the products on the gift form.

## Language

**21. Translate the form's built-in text**

Translates field labels, buttons, and address fields into the chosen language for

**every**

creator who opens your link. Your own copy (headings, custom questions, etc.) stays exactly as you wrote it. Options: Store default, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified). To send one specific creator a different language without changing this default for everyone else, use

**Preview & share by language**

below instead.

## Preview & share by language

A creator doesn't pick a language on the form itself, there's no switcher there. This is how you send one specific creator a link that opens already in their language: one row per supported language (EN / ES / FR), each with a Preview and a Copy link button.

**22. Preview**

Swaps the editor's live preview pane on the right into that language so you can check the translation before sending anything. This only changes what you see while editing, it doesn't save or change anything on the campaign.

**23. Copy link**

Copies your gift link with the language appended (e.g.

`?lang=es`

), the same parameter the gift form itself already reads. Send this link to one creator instead of your default link when you want them in a specific language. Disabled while you're still creating a new campaign, before it has a saved link to copy.

Default: Disabled until the campaign has a real link

**24. Copied**

Confirms the link is on your clipboard, then the button reverts to "Copy link".

Default: shown for about 1.5 seconds after Copy link

## Shipping by country

Advisory notes shown to creators for specific countries, for example longer lead times or extra customs info. These are informational only; they don't block or change checkout, and only apply once you've also turned on shipping to that country on the Form fields tab.

**25. Country / Note rows**

Each row pairs a country with a free-text note. Remove a row with the X button.

**26. + Add country rule**

Adds a new, blank country/note row.

## Your domain link

**27. Page slug / Create page**

Creates a Shopify page that hosts your gift form on your own store domain, at the slug you choose. Requires the

`write_content`

Shopify permission, if not yet granted, clicking Create page a second time triggers Shopify's consent screen.

**28. View page / Delete page**

Once a page exists, view it or delete it. Deleting the page doesn't break your gift link. The Seed fallback link in the header still works.

## Embed on your site

Available on every plan.

**29. Show code / Hide code**

Expands or collapses the embed snippet.

**30. Copy code**

Copies the embed snippet to your clipboard. Paste it into any page. Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, etc., and the form appears and resizes itself.
